This weekend, more than 100 graduates returned to campus for JPCatholic’s Alumni Reunion, the first event of its kind for the University. Alumni from across the years, including from our very first cohort, came together for a weekend filled with community, prayer, and celebration. They enjoyed faculty workshops, a professional showcase, a morning at the beach, delicious meals, and reconnection with the community that formed them during their time at JPCatholic.
A highlight for many was the professor workshops and the return of beloved traditions like Coffeehouse, alongside opportunities for prayer and reflection. It was a joyful gathering that celebrated not only what our alumni have accomplished since graduation, but also the enduring bonds that continue to unite Pelicans across generations.
Maria Fennell, Director of Professional Connections, planned and executed the event. “My vision for this event was that it would not only be a get-together, but a celebration that strengthened our alumni community and renewed our mission to Impact Culture for Christ,“ she said. “I wanted to encourage alumni to build relationships with one another, recognize their gifts and callings, and provide opportunities to encounter Christ. I am very grateful to all who participated, helped, and prayed to make the weekend a success.”
