JPCatholic is committed to helping all students succeed; to further that goal, Student Life provides a number of key services, described below. In addition, staff members are available to discuss the additional needs of each student.
Peer Mentor Program
Our free Peer Mentor service pairs you up with a trained student Mentor who can assist with time management, discuss upcoming class projects, connect you with university services, and introduce you to extracurricular activities here at JPCatholic University.
Contact our Career Services Director at: firstname.lastname@example.org to further discuss your needs.
Student Advising and Personal Plan for Success
All students are assigned an academic advisor automatically by the Registrar's office. Students are required to meet with their advisor at least once per quarter sometime in the first five weeks of the quarter. It is the student's responsibility to schedule this meeting with the professor.Learn More
Students with Disabilities
Students who wish to request accommodations in accordance with the American with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008 or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (1973) should complete the required paperwork.Learn More
The Writing Center's goal is to make students better writers not just for a single project, but for future writing projects as well.Learn More
Psychological counseling can assist students to meet the wide array of personal difficulties that may interfere with a student’s success. Each quarter, JPCatholic attempts to provide a limited number of free, confidential on-campus therapy slots; on-campus counselors are licensed professionals who are faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church.Learn More
while at JPCatholic
Since JPCatholic does not provide health insurance or health services, students access health services through local medical practitioners, hospitals, and clinics. Students should know which local health care providers accept their health insurance plan.Learn More
