Orientation 2026
September 30, 2026
This quarter, JPCatholic welcomed 112 new freshmen and transfer students to campus to begin their studies. Combined with students who began in Winter, Spring, and Summer, 131 new students joined the University this year, the largest cohort since the record-breaking 135 in 2021.
Half of the newly arrived students come from California, with the remainder from 22 additional states, plus international locations including Canada, Austria, and Argentina. Commuter students represent approximately 30% of the new students this fall.
“Each year, we eagerly await meeting our new students, who are committing to a rigorous formation in preparation for an important mission to Impact Culture for Christ,” said President Derry Connolly. “Each new cohort leaves an indelible mark on JPCatholic - we look forward to seeing what it will be for the Class of 2029. There is much work to be done in the Lord’s vineyard. Praise God.”
