We're excited to announce our first ever Parents Weekend this spring! Join us on campus for a fun weekend with your student, which includes campus life activities, updates on our academic programs, free time to explore San Diego, and more. Our Scholarship Gala is the same weekend, and you are invited to join us in celebrating our 20th anniversary with a delightful evening of amazing food, fellowship, and student entertainment.
Registration
Parents Weekend is free to attend, but registration is required and is first come, first served. The Scholarship Gala on May 20th requires paid tickets. The registration deadline for both events is May 15th.
Schedule
Parents Weekend goes from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon (May 19–21, 2023). Check-in times are available on both Friday and Saturday.

Registration is limited to 3 tickets per family (including the JPCatholic student). Register now
Do I need to arrive on Friday?
No, check-in is available on both Friday and Saturday. Please see the schedule for times.
Am I allowed to stay with my student on campus?
No, you may find some hotel options here.
Am I required to attend every event on the schedule?
No, the events are optional.
Is the Scholarship Gala included in Parents Weekend?
We encourage you to attend both Parents Weekend and the Scholarship Gala, which we have scheduled during the same weekend. Please note that Parents Weekend Registration does not include Gala tickets. If you are interested in the Gala, you must purchase tickets here by May 10th.
Where do I park?
Plenty of free public parking is available nearby, such as Grand Ave. and this lot at Maple Street Plaza and Valley Parkway. Please pay attention to all signs regarding time restrictions.
About
At this Scholarship Gala, parents and benefactors will enjoy an evening of amazing student entertainment, food, and fellowship. All funds raised from tickets go to our Student Scholarship Fund. There will also be a silent auction prior to the dinner.

“20 Years of Impact” Commemorative Magazine
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of JPCatholic's founding, we are producing a beautiful commemorative magazine to honor our mission to impact culture for Christ, chronicling our first two decades with words and photographs. The magazine will be given to every attendee at the gala, and will be widely distributed to our students, alumni, their families, and our Escondido community.
