University president Dr. Derry Connolly reminisced on the first Mass he ever heard Fr Huston celebrate 'I was deeply touched by his gentleness and reverence.' Later, when Fr Huston was appointed JPCatholic chaplain by Bishop Brom, then Bishop of San Diego - Dr Connolly felt the University could have not been more blessed. Fr Huston served almost to his 90th birthday. He considered his ministry to our students as one of the major blessings of his priesthood.
