Choir and Cantor Ministry

At JPCatholic, the choir strives to praise the Lord daily and bring our community closer to Christ through the beauty of song. We meet once per week to prepare for special Church events and Sunday Masses, while also coming together for daily Mass to provide music. We take our ministry’s role in the liturgy very seriously, as we are meant to praise the Lord through all that we do. Music is an invaluable and powerful part of the Mass which helps to encourage prayer, praise, solemnity, and reverence: “He who sings prays twice.” (St. Augustine)
