Hours
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Employee is expected to work 8 hours/day Monday-Friday, during business hours (between 8am and 6pm). Work hours may occasionally be moved outside business hours to cover special events.
Location
- This position requires an on-campus presence. Remote hours may be approved on rare occasions (e.g. necessary travel)
- Limited Travel. DPC will travel locally (within Escondido) to meet with contacts and potential employers as necessary. DPC may occasionally travel further for events, conferences, etc.
Job Duties
The DPC oversees professional development for students at JPCatholic and serves as a liaison between students and professional contacts. The DPC’s domains include career services, internship coordination, the professional speaker series, and related projects. The DPC will also collaborate with the Director of Alumni Relations (remote employee) and assist with professional development/career services for alumni, particularly as an on-campus presence.
Part-time jobs
Goal: improve part-time job placement rate
Primary tasks:
- Monitor local part-time job opportunities
- Build relationships with local businesses to place students for jobs, serve as point of contact for potential employers
- Lead career workshops (for example, resume workshops) and meet with students one-on-one to provide accountability and guide them through:
- Creating an excellent resume and cover letter (if needed)
- Building a part-time job search plan
- Application and Interview processes
- Share job opportunities with students via email, instagram page, and/or individual meetings
- Connect part-time job employers with candidates who match their needs
- Manage contact and employment data in Keap (CRM System) for students and employers
- Monitor Keap automations when needed (meeting reminders and job placement surveys)
Internships
Goal: Increase internship awareness and placement
Primary tasks:
- Build and maintain intern relationships with companies, maintain communication with intern supervisors at companies
- Collaborate with companies or individuals to create internship experiences that follow JPCatholic’s requirements
- Manage internship timeline and sequences (reminding students of deadlines)
- Communicate JPCatholic’s internship process and requirements to students, staff, and companies via individual meetings, phone calls, and class presentations
- Review and approve internship experiences for students. Sign off on paperwork, follow up with other parties if needed.
- Send surveys and follow up with students and companies after internships
- Promote and manage the LA Internship Program (Execute the new iteration of the BTS experience for students)
Full-time Jobs
Goal: Build relationships with companies for full-time job placement, council students
Primary tasks:
- Serve as a liaison between students and companies when needed
- Council graduating seniors seeking assistance in their full-time job search
- Manage survey for graduating seniors and offer career workshop(s) to address their common needs/concerns
- Stay aware of hiring standards and trends to best inform students
- Collaborate with Director of Alumni Relations (remote employee) and meet with alumni seeking career advice/professional development
Professional Speaker Series
Goal: Build relationships with professionals who want to “give back” and offer value for students, particularly as a professional connection or potential intern contact for the future. Simultaneously, create value for students through high-quality events
Primary tasks:
- Plan, execute, and host 2-3 speaker events per quarter
- Effectively market events to students (in collaboration with marketing team and Student Life)

Key Responsibilities
The CAO will lead with visionary purpose, integrating faith, innovation, and service to advance JPCatholic’s mission of forming graduates to Impact Culture for Christ within the disciplines of the Creative Arts and Business Innovation. Primary responsibilities include:
- Strategic Visioning and Academic Leadership: Shape and implement long-term academic strategies that propel JPCatholic into a bold era of mission-driven innovation, expansion, and growth—encompassing leadership, entrepreneurship, organizational development, and dynamic partnerships. Collaborate with the co-founding team and trustees to refine current programs, design new high-impact initiatives, and integrate transformative technologies like AI, equipping graduates for success in rapidly evolving industries. Guide the 2032 Strategic Plan process to address enrollment trends, technological advancements, and shifting student needs, while driving sustainable strategies for institutional viability, enrollment growth, and student achievement.

Salary and Employee classification:
Salary is currently $4,500 per 10-week class. This compensation includes all prep time, classes, grading, meeting with students, office hours, emailing students, revising the syllabus and other course related duties. Adjunct professors are classified as temporary, non-exempt employees.

Your job will be to communicate JP Catholic's mission with passion to prospective students and their parents, manage our enrollment data and process, and plan campus visits and events. Job Duties
- Data Management: the handling of Admissions records and data at all stages of the enrollment cycle.
- Student Recruitment: the processing of viewbook requests and direct mail initiatives, campaign creation in our Admissions CRM, management of reporting tools, correspondence with prospective students and parents, and prospective student list calling.

JPCatholic is accepting applications for a Financial Aid Assistant. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills, and have the capacity to field routine questions from prospective and current students regarding all aid programs. Financial aid requires extensive attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with students and their families as well as internal staff and faculty, while following policies and procedures that comply with all necessary regulations. The candidate will assist in ensuring that student paperwork is completed properly and communicate when follow up is needed. This position will provide office and ad-hoc support for the Vice President of Financial Aid. Current financial aid programs include Federal aid, institutional aid, Veterans benefits, private loans, private scholarships, State aid, and monthly institutional payment plans.
The ideal candidate would also have the desire and capacity to cross-train and learn all aspects of the financial aid office. Success in these areas could lead to additional responsibilities and compensation.
Example of Duties
- Assist students and their parents with questions regarding the various programs and application processes
- Create folders and input data from institutional aid applications for the Financial Aid Committee
- Schedule scholarships in Student Information System (Blackbaud) for billing
- Assist in tracking outstanding tasks for prospective students and follow up to acquire any missing items
- Compile a spreadsheet with rosters and students, follow up with professors for attendance at beginning of quarter or as needed
- Assist with maintaining accurate record of EFA (Estimated Financial Assistance) in Regent by preparing uploads on at least a quarterly basis
- Annual review of student (Admissions/Registrar) files to verify high school/undergraduate completion
- Assist with review of required consumer information on an annual basis to ensure institution is meeting regulations
- Assist with sending annual disclosure notice to all applicable students, staff, and faculty
- Maintain current information in files, Student Information System (Blackbaud), and financial aid system (Regent)
- Maintain list of private scholarships
- Assist with reporting as necessary
- Assist with periodic and ongoing data quality checks/audits
- Assist in reviewing University Catalog, website, and other documentation for consistency and accuracy

The MGO will expand our current philanthropy team and work closely with university leadership to increase our philanthropic revenue stream to enable us to realize our growth potential. JPCatholic expects to raise $2M in FY24, and to grow it 15% annually in subsequent years.

MGO Duties and Responsibilities:

- Create reasonable financial goals for each donor alongside stewardship and further cultivation plans in a timely and effective manner.

JPCatholic's School of Visual Arts is seeking an Adjunct Professor of 2D Animation to teach animation, rigging, and storyboarding using Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. Applicants must provide a link to their professional portfolio/reel.
Responsibilities include
- Course initial development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with department faculty in the curriculum implementation.
