Earn practicum credit for participating in evangelistic outreach through NET such as parish retreats, street evangelization, and coffee shop ministry. Study Abroad: October–December
Through a partnership with Thomas More College of the Liberal Arts, several JPCatholic students spent Fall 2024 with their study abroad program. Their Rome Semester offers an immersive experience in the Eternal City, where students “traverse catacombs and cloisters, piazzas and palazzos, exploring the heart of the Christian West.” Students immerse themselves in the history and culture of the Eternal City, while taking courses like Art and Architecture in Rome, Poetics, and Philosophy of the Human Person.

Study Abroad: March–June
This new study abroad program will be offered to students in Spring 2025. Stationed at a local parish in Rouen, you’ll earn practicum credit for participating in parish life, catechetics programs, and various works of mercy. In addition, you’ll get to visit important cultural and religious sites in France.

Academic Experience: September-November
JPCatholic’s strategic location in Southern California is an important component of the education, particularly for students pursuing a career in the film industry. Upperclassmen can have the opportunity to experience the Los Angeles entertainment industry firsthand in our immersive L.A. Quarter. These 8 weeks open up a host of new opportunities for internships, networking, and experiencing life in the entertainment capital of the world.

Academic Trip: January/February
Since 2018, JPCatholic has offered an elective credit experience traveling to Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. Students and faculty network with other filmmakers and attend a wide variety of film screenings at the largest independent film fest in the nation. A unique highlight of the trip is the Windrider Summit, which features panels bringing together Christian universities and filmmakers to discuss how to effectively incorporate Christian values into film.
