Important Conference Information

Address and Directions:

  • Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Rancho Peñasquitos
    13541 Stoney Creek Rd.
    San Diego, CA 92129
  • Directions from the south (driving on 15-N):
    • Take Exit 21 - Carmel Mountain Rd, turn LEFT.
    • Take Carmel Mountain Rd for 1.5 miles and turn RIGHT on Stoney Creek Rd
    • Church and parking lot will be on your RIGHT.
  • Directions from the north (driving on 15-S):
    • Take Exit 21 - Carmel Mountain Rd, turn RIGHT.
    • Take Carmel Mountain Rd for 1.5 miles and turn RIGHT on Stoney Creek Rd.
    • Church and parking lot will be on your RIGHT.

What to Bring:

  • Print out of your ticket(s) or show us the ticket(s) on your phone at check-in
  • Paper and pen for taking notes
  • Sweater or jacket
  • Picnic blanket if you choose to eat your lunch on the OLMC campus.
  • Lunch if you do not plan to purchase lunch from one of the vendors.
  • If you do not purchase lunch from a vendor or bring your own lunch, please plan accordingly to use your 90 minute lunch break wisely.

Check in:

  • FRIDAY: Check in begins at 5:30pm inside the Church Hall.
  • SATURDAY: Check in begins at 7:30am
    • *If you check in Friday night you do not need to check in again; please retain your wristband for entry.

Talk Handouts:

  • Both Dr. Bergsma and Dr. Barber will be using handouts for their talks. Printed copies will be available at the conference.
  • Dr. Hahn and Dr. Kincaid typically do not use handouts.

Parking: (See Map Below)

  • If possible, please carpool.
  • OLMC has a very large parking lot that extends all the way to the back of the campus.
  • If you are able-bodied, please consider parking toward the back to allow others closer parking access.
  • Street parking is also available on Stoney Creek Rd and the surrounding neighborhood, as indicated in the map below.
  • Please do not park at any red curbs or block driveways.
  • Please note that parking is not available at New Hope Church.
