Social Events

The Campus Life Team leads the planning and preparation of two to three school-wide social events each quarter to provide opportunities for JPCatholic students to grow in community & fellowship. Alongside these gatherings, the campus life team also encourages clubs to host events unique to their interest which makes finding “something to do” very easy on our campus! Here's a peak at some of our past events, that you may just see again in the future!

Coffee House

Pope St. John Paul II was a man of the arts. Coffee House is an open-mic night in which students sign up to share their artistic talents with the community. Whether you can sing, play a musical instrument, dance, do stand-up comedy, write poetry, or simply want to enjoy coffee, snacks and live entertainment, this event has been a favorite among many of our students!

Christ the King Cup

Christ the King Cup

Our annual Christ the King Cup is a kickball tournament in which each class level competes against each other as well as a team compiled of the staff & faculty of JPCatholic. Hosted by JPCatholic's Sports Club in Grape Day Park, this event is loads of fun whether playing in the game or cheering from the sidelines.

Holiday Activities

Holiday Activities

For every holiday, JPCatholic's Student Government has an event to help cultivate the spirit of the season. May it be a Halloween Dance, 4th of July BBQ, Christmas Movie Night, or Fat Tuesday Feast, be on the lookout for a special treat at the holidays!

Campfire Skits & Songs

Campfire Skits & Songs

Welcome to Camp JPCatholic! With bonfires, outdoor games, s'mores, live skits & participation songs, this summer event sure put a nostalgic smile on the faces of our students.

Monday Madness

Monday Madness

Hosted on the Monday of finals week, Monday Madness provides JPCatholic students an opportunity to bond over and amid the typical stress of college finals. Although the Student Life Team encourages our students to begin studying for their finals in advance, our student workers enjoy supporting their peers with snacks, regulated study areas, and smiles to help them get past the MONDAY MADNESS.

Formal Dances

Formal Dances

Once a year, the students will host a formal dance for a beautiful evening with ballgowns and ties, good food and dancing. This past spring, the theme was a Storybook Spring Formal where students dressed up following a fairytale theme.
