Alumni Success

JPCatholic’s project-based degree programs and well-rounded core curriculum are forming students for fullfilling careers. Our alumni have found success in a variety of paths, ranging from Hollywood to independent media organizations, and from large corporations to their own entrepreneurial start-ups. Some of our alumni have discerned a religious vocation and joined seminary or religious communities. JPCatholic’s focus on project-based curriculum, one-on-one mentorship, and a rigorous business core enable our students to discover their professional calling and put them on the path to Impacting Culture for Christ.

In addition to our professional preparation, JPCatholic focuses on putting students on firm financial footing. Our innovative three-year completion model increases lifetime earnings. Our tuition lock guarantee and financial planning process help students prepare a viable pathway to graduation, the fruits of which can be seen in our above national average graduation rate and historically low loan default rate.

Life is more than just finances: Nearly a quarter of our students have met their future spouse while growing professionally, spiritually, and intellectually in our Christ-centered community.

1 Three-year average, using data from cohorts beginning in 2014-2016. This number is the percentage of full-time first-time and transfer students from that period who graduated within 150% of “normal time” to completion for their program.

2 Percentage of Students Who Began Their Studies in Fall 2017 and Returned in Fall 2018.

3 Data covers 3 years and includes the classes of 2017-2019. Six months after graduation, alumni were surveyed on their employment status. 88% of alumni were working full-time, part-time, or pursuing further education within 6 months of graduation. Reported employment is not necessarily related to the students' field of study.

4 Data from https://www2.ed.gov/offices/OSFAP/defaultmanagement/cdr.html and include three years. Fiscal Year 2017 to 2020 was the last data set before the pandemic-related loan forbearance period. We have included this data set in order to show what the default rate was without the payment pause. See here.

Innovative Year-Round Model

At JPCatholic, students graduate with their bachelor’s degree in just 12 quarters. Each quarter is 10 weeks long, with about 2-3 weeks of break between each quarter. This unique model provides a variety of benefits to students including consistent and regular breaks, training for the pace of professional life, and increased lifetime earnings due to graduating in three years.

Financial Stewardship & Future Growth

JPCatholic has a strong commitment and track record of prudent stewardship of our resources. Fundraising efforts have enabled us to provide financial aid to many of our student body. JPCatholic has also never ran an operational deficit, and there are few universities nationally who can claim that distinction. Our commitment to prudent stewardship has enabled us to nearly double our campus square footage with real estate acquisitions over the past decade, enabling the future expansion of our mission to Impact Culture for Christ at the intersection of Creative Arts, Business, and Humanities.
