Board of Regents

JPCatholic’s Board of Regents consists of respected leaders from various industries, chosen for their leadership and networking expertise. The primary role of Regents is to advance philanthropy and cultivate relationships that enhance the university’s ability to secure resources and build a strong, engaged community. Regents, in their advisory and advocacy capacity, are dedicated to advancing the university’s mission, expanding institutional outreach through relationship-building, securing financial and essential resources, offering strategic guidance, and increasing JPCatholic’s visibility across diverse communities. Meanwhile, JPCatholic’s fiduciary responsibilities are managed by our separate Board of Trustees.

The primary goals of the Board of Regents include:

  1. Resource Development – Actively advancing our fundraising efforts by utilizing personal and professional networks to attract new donors, secure major gifts, and champion philanthropic initiatives. This role focuses on sourcing financial resources to support JPCatholic’s institutional growth, including academic expansion, infrastructure projects, and scholarships, all in alignment with the university’s strategic priorities.
  2. Relationship Building – Acting as connectors to cultivate meaningful relationships with influential and diverse leaders who share our mission, while fostering new partnerships and collaborations.
  3. Brand Ambassadors – Actively showcasing our achievements, programs, and impact to enhance visibility, elevate our national profile, and strengthen our brand reputation.
  4. Strategic Guidance – Offering valuable external insights and expertise to support our strategic goals, ensuring alignment between our mission and marketplace needs and opportunities.
  5. Student, Alumni & Faculty Support – Enhancing student success through mentorship and internships while providing professional development opportunities for faculty and alumni to foster lifelong engagement with JPCatholic.
